Woof-Its Dog and Puppy Training classes are run by Lorraine Garbutt and Helen Nowak.  Woof-Its Dog club only promotes and uses positive reinforcement, so no check chains or other aversive methods are used.

 Lorraine is a member of the Pet Professional Guild the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a student member of the Kennel Club Approved Instructors scheme.  She has been instructing people with their dogs for 15 years and training dogs since 1980”s.  She  has attended many courses with some of the UK’s  leading  dog trainers such as Kay Lawrence and Sarah Whitehead. and is deeply  committed to continuing her own education and increasing her knowledge base.  

 Her current dogs are Tally who was adopted when he was nine months old, is a border collie and competes in Rally Obedience.  Her younger dog Isla, who she has had since she was seven weeks old, is  also a Border Collie and will compete in Rally  Obedience in 2018.

Helen has been involved with dogs since a child and particularly with Dalmatians since 1990’s.  Her current dog Lizzy is pictured here competing in Rally Obedience at Stoneleigh,  achieving her Level Two in 2016.  Helen & Lizzie have also successfully achieved their Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen award.   She is also keen to continue her own education by attending relevant courses with and without Lizzie.
